PastFinder Berlin 1933-1945: Stadführer zu den Stätten der Vergangenheit
In 2004 about 30 Million people visited Berlin, about 1/4 came from countries with English as mother-language. Many of them are interest in the history of the German capital, especially in the period of time between 1933 and 1945, a period which changed the face of the town dramatically: Air Offensive against Berlin, the Battle for Berlin with the Red Army, but also the gigantic changes in the structure of the town ordered by the Nazi leaders. The PastFinder presents the most important places of the NS-history in Berlin and its suborbs and makes them findable again, by a 4-colour-guide-system and maps. The sites are described and shown in b/w- and colour photographs.
