The flying section of the French Navy, the AERONAVALE, is part of the Marine Nationale and forms an independent part of the French Defence Organisation. They were founded in 1910 with a Farman biplane. Today they form the flying part pf the aircraft carrier "Charles de Gaulle" and take care of world wide sea surveillance in different operation areas.
