In this chronicle the heavy and lossy way of the Kampfgeschwader/combat squadron 76 with the Ju 88 A-4 during the fighting in Italy, the defense of the Allied invasion in the bridgehead Anzio - Nettuno is described.
Also the murderous attacks on the big Allied ship convoys will be discussed in detail.
However, most of the chronicle includes the conversion of parts of the squadron to at the time most modern Arado Ar 234 B-2 jet bombers and the defensive battles against the British and American troops at the Western Front.
The chronicle ends with the capitulation on May 8, 1945 in Schleswig-Holstein.
