The penultimate volume in this highly acclaimed series which has involved 20 years of painstaking research in order for the author to bring this project to fruition plus of course collaboration with the late John Hey and Gerrie Franken and Marco Cillessen based in the Netherlands.
Each volume covers a period of three months and includes details of all Americans killed and also POW's flying from Europe in WWII with both the 8th and 9th Air Forces. Includes operational and non operational losses. Details include name of aircraft and crew, location, mission details, what happened and where, next of kin, where they were buried and where they are now.
With about 200 b/w photos throughout.
