There is probably no aviation fan who does not know the unmistakable Junkers Ju-52, the legendary "Aunt Ju" with its corrugated iron skin and three radial engines. The sturdy workhorse was built nearly 5.000 times from 1932 until after World War II and was used in a variety of roles. Today only a handful of these "flying monuments" still exist.
Long-time Lufthansa captain Claus Cordes flew such a historic machine (type D-AQUI) for the Lufthansa Foundation for many years and shares his impressions, experiences and experiences that he gained in countless flying hours in an exciting and expert manner.
Approx. 100 pictures (mostly color photos, also details of the cockpit, the frames, the interior, also technical b/w drawings, 1 elevation, 1 three-sided view).
The pictures only show the type D-AQUI!!!!
