By lucky coincidences, the documents for almost all of Lieutenant Dortenmann's 38 aerial victories were preserved. These are the carbon copies of the battle reports, air witness reports, kill reports, etc. and also some killings acknowledgments from the Oberkommando of the Luftwaffe. All documents are published here for the first time.
The book is the ideal complement to Dortenmann's diary, which was published last year (Dortenmann's “Fliegers”) at the same publishing house.
