The Junkers Ju-87, better known as "Stuka" (for Sturzkampfflugzeug), is probably one of the most famous aircraft of the Second World War and is still the most successful specimen of this genus. The aircraft with the unmistakable cranked wings/bent wings and the characteristic dive flight siren was used throughout the war and at almost all theatres of war and was particularly effective in the first years of operation. Nearly 6,000 aircraft left Junkers production by 1944.
This volume with its countless details and contemporary photos is undoubtedly the best book on stuka at the moment.
200 pictures (mainly b/w photos, 5 original color photos, as well as some modern color photos (engine details, pictures taken under water from original crashed WWII machines)).
