After World War II, the naval powers attempted to rebuild their naval aviation in order to be able to intervene in all seas and protect their national interests.
Initially, it was the United States and Great Britain that delivered most of the aircraft carriers and on-board aircraft for lack of funds, before some countries, such as France, built their own buildings and aircraft, especially jet aircraft.
This more than 200-page book, which contains several hundred color profiles and photographs (b/w and in color), shows both alphabetically and chronologically the naval aviation of each country, smaller ones such as those of Argentina or New Zealand as well as those of the US Navy.
The book does NOT contain technical data of the airplanes and the country China and aircraft carriers are not included!
