Flugzeug Profile 65: Junkers Ju 287
The development of a tactical jet bomber started in March 1943. The type was called Junkers Ju 287. Until the end of the war only two prototypes were built and tested successfully. After the invasion of Sovjet troops in the East German territory all the material concerning this aircraft was taken over and the Sovjets were so impressed to get access to this German jet development, that they decided to continue this programme.
This profile shows all historical aspects of this development with an impressive amount of rare pictures and drawings.
