The Do 27 is one of the most successful German aircraft developments of the post-war period:
A distinctive, robust and extremely versatile machine. Built by Dornier from 1956, it was the first aircraft mass-produced in Germany after the war. For decades, the short-take-off and landing capable aircraft also flew at the Bundeswehr. The Zebra-Dornier by Prof. Bernhard Grzimek, who used it in his nature films in Africa, achieved worldwide fame.
With 200 b/w and colour pictures. A list with production numbers completes the book.
