Born in 1892, Robert Greim early decided to become a soldier. At the outbreak of the First World War, he still served for the field artillery, but in 1916 he was transferred to the Imperial German Army Air Service and became an observer. At the beginning of 1917 for the first time he flew himself a fighter plane, a few weeks later he already leads the Jagdstaffel 34 over the hell of Verdun and at the Somme. When in November 1918 the German Empire surrendered, he scored 30 kills, was decorated with the Pour-le-Mérite and made him a life peer. The outstanding aviator and tactician is now struggling with his close friend Ernst Udet as a stuntpilot ...
