Der Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer des Österreichischen Bundesheeres.
[336670]

Der Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer des Österreichischen Bundesheeres.
He is the big brother of the Haflinger: the Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer.
Preliminary designs had already been created in 1962, and at the end of 1965 the first prototypes could be put into testing. Essentially, there are two versions: a 4x4 and a 6x6 version, which have been adapted for the various tasks. For many years, a gasoline engine was used, which was later replaced by a diesel engine. With the Pinzgauer, both the Austrian Armed Forces and the Swiss Army were supplied with several thousand units. After almost 30 years of production and 24,000 vehicles built, production was discontinued in 2000.
With a lot of illustrations (colour pictures).
