Storming St. Nazaire.

The "Normandie-dock" was the only dock, which was able to repair great warships, like the "Tirpitz". Therefore an attack to the dock was necessary. The British main force of warships with the destroyer "HMS "Cambeltown", ready for crashing the gate of the dock, came to the German occupied harbour, and destroyed parts of the dock. Maps show the way of the ships along the French coast, show the way into the fortified Loire entrance, show the targets in the town. 42 b/w photographs are included. This out-of-print book is in stock - but we have only one used copy.
