This is the story (illustrated with 100 contemporary photographs) of Generalmajor Adelbert Schulz. In 1939 as leader of the 1./Panzerregiment 25, within the 7. Panzerdivision, he was one of the most important subordinates of Rommel, and participated, wit his unit, within the famous "Gespensterdivision", in the advance in France. His way led him to the Eastern front, where he, as commander of PR 25, saw action in the regions of Wilna, Smolensk, Minsk, Wjasma, Charkow and Kursk, where he earned, as the 9th soldier of the German Wehrmach in WW2, the "Brillanten zum Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes". On January, the 28th, 1944 he fell as leader of the 7. Panzerdivision in the region of Schepetowka.
