The 1st volume of this 3-volume-series starts with the first attempts of gliding flights of Pelzner and shows the different airplanes. The author informs about the airplanes, the constructing engineers, the pilots and their flights. Each volume contains more than 200 b/w and colored pictures (most of them hitherto unpublished), and very detailed drawings in scale 1:50. The author has used the original drawings (if available) for the drawings, which were created in a digital way. All three volumes are also available in ENGLISH language for the same price.
