Chronicle of Stade airfield with reports by eye-witnesses. The photographs document the historic development as well as the current state. Because the airfield was converted into a housing area, many items were digged out of the ground over the years, i.e. everyday-items, navigation instruments and rescue equipment. Also documented are the recovery of allied and german airplane wrecks.
Printed on grayish paper, which doesn't affect the overall printing quality.
Illustrated with 180 b/w-photographs and excerpts from contemporary documents
