Subject of the book are mainly the events at the end of World War II around the Walpersberg. Thousands of forced laborers suffered at this time, when they worked at the underground production facilities for the construction of the Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter in Thuringia. The book informs in English, German, Russian, Italian and Dutch language and also with 201 illustrations, especially about the building process on Walpersberg 1944/45, inaugurates in the planning of REIMAHG-work (code name "LACHS"), and shows the reader the end of the secret military object. It also informs about the different types of reuse of the individual objects of the REIMAHG plant in the subsequent period up to the present.
