The Transall C-160 is still THE German transport aircraft par excellence. Designed and built in the '60s by the German-French consortium Transportation Alliance (Trans-All) the machine today is still in service in Germany, France and Turkey. The aircraft also is known for flights in humanitarian operations in Africa. It also was used, for example, in Malaysia in passenger transport as well as in France for the transportation of mail.
