It is truly hard to believe, that in March 1941 Germany brought a two engine turbine fighter into the air. This unique technological advance was not realized by several engineers. Problems with and the fear of a new technology might have played a role. So this aircraft could never play a decisive part in the fast advancing war technology. Years later with the Messerschmitt Me 262 Germany managed to bring a twin engine fighter to production status.
