The aircraft should be used as escort fighter for the new strategic four engine bombers Do 19 and Ju 89 and should also be able to act as combat and reconnaissance plane. The result was the famous Messerschmitt Me 110 two engine destroyer that achieved controversial results in WWII. In the second part of a three part documentation the author describes the variants D-F.
