From 1977 the Mercedes-Benz MB 1017 truck family took over the legacy to become a legend known to all German soldiers serving in the past thirty years. 15,000 MB 1017 trucks were fielded both in the 4x2 and 4x4 configurations and in an almost unbelievable number of variants.
